Optometrist

Dr. Jeffrey Porter, O.D. is a resident of Crystal Lake and is married with 5 children. He began his practice after graduating from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1996. Dr. Porter examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages eye diseases, injuries, and disorders. His goal is to provide quality eye care for your entire family.

Dr. Will Watson, O.D. is a resident of Lake in the Hills and is married with 2 children. He graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1999. He specializes in general eye care, including the prescription of eyeglasses, contacts, and the treatment of eye problems.

Dr. Porter was wonderful! I am farsighted with astigmatism and I have presbyopia because I’m over 40. This is a difficult prescription to fill for contact lenses but I was adamant I was going to make it work. He was very patient with me while we tried a few strategies to make contacts work for me.

He sent me home with a few trial pairs and it took 3 visits to perfect it but I can see great now and with comfortable contact lenses. I have tried several times with other places but my vision was just never good enough so I always resorted back to my glasses. I genuinely appreciate Dr. Porter’s patience as this is the first time I have ever been successful with contacts. I will be sure to come back!
